My name is Jetze Mellema and I'm from Holland. I work with CTS as a systems administrator. I'm happily married to Teunie and we have 3 wonderful kids: Auke, Femke and Nynke. To learn more about me and my family check this website.
The collection mainly consists of small or compact homecomputers, some pongs and some 'special' portables. Why are these portables special? Just because I like them. It's funny but I never really planned to start collecting homecomputers. When I was a little boy my dad bought a nice MSX computer with joysticks and a color monitor. Later of course we sold the stuff and I forgot about it. Couple of years ago I tried some MSX emulators on pc but kept missing something. So I went looking for the real thing and found 2 or 3 Philips MSX 2 computers. I guess that that's where it all went horribly wrong...
At first I collected only MSX computers, especially the models I could not afford but always wanted when I was a kid. For example the Philips NMS-8280 and the Panasonic FS-A1GT. After a while came the first non-MSX computer and I discovered lots of beautiful computers I had never seen before.
Donations are highly appreciated. If you have something you'd get rid off, drop me a line. If the item is really special then I will pay some money but I'm not a rich guy so I cannot pay huge amounts of money. If you want to become rich, put the item on Ebay. :-)
In Nederland kan ik computers soms op komen halen. Verzenden is natuurlijk ideaal en ik vergoed minimaal de gemaakte onkosten!
